This demonstration uses computer-generated speech sounds. There are ten syllables in equal steps from /da/ to /ga/. The experiment uses the ones numbered 1, 4, 7, and 10. In the task, you will be presented with a randomly-ordered series of these sound pairs and asked to judge whether the two syllables in each pair are the same or different.
